Planting Book Covers

I’ve been working for a while now with the lovely folks at Quadrille on the Planting Series, starting with Planting for Honeybees a few years back, and now including, Butterflies, Garden Birds, Wildlife, and Wildflowers. For most of these I did the cover designs, chapter headings and a whole bunch of interior illustrations, though for a couple I had to surrender the interior illustrations to some other great illustrators due to time constraints. I’ve split the projects into 3 project pages as there’s a lot of work in these. Here are the covers, the illustrations wrap around so I’ve included the spines and back covers below. These are a lot of fun to do, but get quite complex and it’s tricky to fit in a lot of the most important plants and animals for each book in a limited palette like this, so it’s always satisfying when they come together.
